Now, Videocon has launched its first Android phone – Zeus in India. Android is the most popular OS this time for mobile. So, Videocon has also decided to launch its first Android based handset – Zeus in Indian market.
Videocon Zeus is a sleek mobile phone with a clean looking frame. It will definitely attract you for the design and looks. The phone is very similar to the popular Nokia mobile phones in the looks and design.
Videocon Zeus mobile phone comes with a 480×320 pixel screen and with a 5MP AF Camera. It offers dedicated Camera key and LED Flash also.
Videocon Zeus V7500 supports Video Playback with multi format (H.263, H.264 AVC, and MPEG-4 SP). It has a 1230 mAH battery which will last for 7 hrs Talk Time. It comes with internal memory of 512 MB. The memory is expandable up to a 32 GB card.
Videocon Zeus phone comes with an Android Version of 1.6. But the company promises to provide an upgrade to Android 2.1 by October, 2010.
Looks of the phone is very appreciating. It has got many shortcut keys also. It is being compared with Samsung Wave also.
3.5G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Push Mail Client with G-Mail Server and a 3.2″ Multi-touch (Capacitive) screen are the most attractive key features of Videocon Zeus device. The gadget is well in connectivity also.
A2DP, GAP, HFP, HSP, GPS and Geo-Tagging are other appreciating features of the phone. Videocon Zeus phone box is packed with 8GB Micro SD Card, a Car Charger, two Batteries, a Carrying Case, a Charging Adaptor, a USB Data Cable and a Stereo Hands free.
Videocon Zeus V7500 mobile phone is priced at Rs. 19, 995 in Indian market. But if you have bargaining skills, you can get this phone for anything between Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 19,500. It is not a low-cost mobile phone in Indian market like HTC Wildfire.
